Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets 2020 Season Outlook

When NFL fans think of Pittsburgh Steelers tickets they think of greatness, championships and the Steel Curtain. The defense in 2020 could resemble the defenses of the 70s that made the Steelers famous. TJ Watt has emerged in to one of the best edge rushers in the NFL, and is a threat to sack the quarterback on every play. Fans know if they need a big play on defense, Watt will step up. On offense, the franchise quarterback has not changed for nearly two decades. Ben Roethlisberger continues to come back for more, and after an injury ended his season last year, he is ready to return to the spotligt. Running back James Conner is a local product that grew up in Pennsylvania and has been a fan favorite since the moment he was drafted. The Steelers will look to return to winning ways and compete for a championship in 2020. Find your Pittsburgh Steelers tickets today to see this redemption tour in action!

History of the Pittsburgh Steelers

No sport is more popular in the U.S. than football, as fans have fallen in love with its fast paced, blue collar competition. Few teams have embodied that attitude more than the Pittsburgh Steelers. Playing in the hardnosed city of Pittsburgh, fans have grown to consider those wearing the black and gold to be family. Come out and experience football at its highest level by buying Pittsburgh Steelers tickets this NFL season. The seventh oldest franchise in the National Football League, the Steelers were founded in 1933 by owner Arthur Rooney. Before adopting the Steelers moniker, the franchise was named the Pittsburgh Pirates after the baseball team of the same name (the teams shared Forbes Field as their home stadium). After seven years of struggling to become a winning franchise, Rooney decided to give his team a new identity, renaming them the Pittsburgh Steelers after the city's history of steel workers.

The Steelers experienced unprecedented success in the ‘70s when they won the Super Bowl in 1974, 1975, 1978, and 1979. The fans of Pittsburgh began to view the Steelers as more than just a team, and now the Pittsburgh Steelers have one of the most intense fan bases in the NFL. They are also one of the most prominent franchises in the history of the league – they have won more Super Bowl titles (6) and played more conference championship games (16) than any other NFL team. Each week at Heinz Field, thousands of fans bring their "Terrible Towels" and their Steelers tickets to the stadium to root for their legendary team.
