Chicago Bears Tickets

Chicago Bears Tickets 2020 Season Outlook

This is a make-or-break season for the Chicago Bears. After going 12-4 in 2018, the Bears took a considerable step back and failed to make the playoffs. Head Coach Matt Nagy and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky both regressed in the Bears' system. Quarterback Nick Foles was signed in free agency and will likely take over for the Bears if Trubisky continues to struggle. The Bears still have one of the best defenses in the league but they seemed to play unmotivated at times last season due to the lack of help they got from their offense. Khalil Mack is still a force to be reckoned with and the Bears know they have the talente to turn their fortunes around. Chicago Bears tickets will offer fans a first look at two playmakers that were drafted by the Bears in 2020 as well. Tight end Cole Kmet from Notre Dame should make Trubisky's life easier from day one. Cornerback Jaylon Johnson will help with creating turnovers on the defensive end. Secure your Chicago Bears tickets today to see the turnaround in 2020!

History of the Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are one of only two franchises remaining in the NFL that were part of the league when it was originally founded in 1920. The Bears remain one of the most recognizable franchises in sports with one of the most passionate fanbases. The franchise came from very humble beginnings, when they were founded in 1919 as a team for the A.E. Staley food starch company in Decatur, Illinois. It was just two years later that the team moved to their current home of Chicago under the guidance of the legendary George Halas. The Bears have seen plenty of success over their history, winning eight NFL championships and one Super Bowl title. The Super Bowl winning Bears team in 1985 is still regarded as one of the most dominant teams in NFL history, with Hall-of-Fame players Walter Payton and Mike Singletary leading the way. But one man that was part of the title team remains the most synonymous with the Chicago Bears: "Iron" Mike Ditka. Ditka served as both a player and a coach for the Bears during his football career, gaining notoriety for his tough demeanor and sweater vests. He finished his Bears coaching career with a record of 106-62 and two NFL Coach of the Year Awards.

The Chicago Bears play at Soldier Field which was first opened on October 9, 1924 as Municipal Grant Park Stadium. The name was changed to Soldier Field in 1925 to hone American soldiers who had died in combat. The stadium underwent major renovations in 2002 and can now hold up to 61,500 spectators. The stadium also hosts concerts for major performers including Beyoncé, Coldplay, U2, Pink Floyd, and Johnny Cash.

Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers Rivalry

One of the most played matchups in the history of the NFL is the Chicago Bears versus the Green Bay Packers. These two teams have met a total of 196 times. Green Bay currently leads 96-94-6. The series is very close so that could change soon! The rivalry goes back almost 100 years when the owner of the Bears revealed illegal practices the Packers were participating in. Head coach and owner of the Packers, Curly Lambeau, was using college players for his team. The Staleys, owners of the Bears, ratted on Lambeau and the Packers’ American Professional Football Association membership was revoked. Ever since then, the Bears and Packers have experienced an intense rivalry. Because the two teams are both in the NFC North, they meet at least twice every season.
